Applied Physiology Figure 8s
The Figure 8s module is a one day module presented in two parts. In the 10 day intensive Agape Quest, it is presented on 2 evenings of the course. In the 4 part series, part 1 of the Figure 8s is taught in the Agape Quest 1:Holographic Balancing
module and part 2 is in the 3rd segment, Attitude with Essence. On occasion, this module is taught as a one day introductory workshop all by itself.
The Figure 8s are an energy system in the body. While they exist in many individual parts of the body (particularly the joints), this technique addresses the larger, gross Figure 8s that cover the whole body. Expanding on the six Figure 8s originally taught in Touch for Health, Applied Physiology works with 14 Figure 8s and attaches each of these to a Chinese meridian. This relationship expands greatly on the ways to approach the balancing of this significant energy system.
The Figure 8s system is one of the most important techniques taught in all of Applied Physiology. Combined with the AP Tuning Forks (introduced in the Agape Quest 1: Holographic Balancing module), it is the second most used technique next to the 7 Chi Keys. In part 2, 5 Element Figure 8s, a unique means of balancing this system is presented based on the Chinese 5 Elements and meridian command points.
The session concepts taught in the module include:• Background of the Figure 8s.• How the Figure 8s interface with the physical body and other energy systems such as the meridians and chakras.• How to identify Figure 8 imbalances using the Chinese Alarm Points. The balancing techniques taught in this module include:• Basic Figure 8s energy system balance.• Balancing Figure 8s with tuning forks.• 5 Element Figure 8s using the Chinese command points. Not only is the Figure 8s technique one of the most often used and powerful in Applied Physiology (and beyond!), it's among the easiest to learn and the most fun to use. This combination makes for a wonderful segment in the Agape Quest.
Depending on how you came to this page, you may want to continue on with the Muscle Monitoring Module or the Can Opener/Basket Weaver Module. Of course, you can access any of the modules from the Applied Physiology home page.
